when God says "not yet."

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens. - Ecclesiastes 3:1 NIV

Three years ago, I wanted to know Jesus; three months later, I became inconsistent in pursuing Him. Eight months ago, I wanted to go back to Jesus; three months later, I became surrounded with His people.

We feel it, and we come to a point when we feel the thirst of having the relationship with Jesus as compact as we could ever have. We become excited of going to church thinking what new message lies ahead. We become eager of going to services so we can meet more people who has the same desire as yours. We become hyperactive about the events that we know that could help us grow. We become wise of using our authorities to share His word. We become the person who's willing to work in any way we can to share the love of Jesus. Opportunities come, doors open, but sometimes it's not meant for us to take. No matter how much we desire, if God says "Not yet.", we'll have to wait. Maybe He has more to tell; maybe He has more to teach; maybe He has more to change in us. So the moment He opened the door right in front of us, we can be as prepared as we were before. We can never foretell God's plans for us, but we can tell that God's plans are always perfect. We cannot see it's perfection at the moment He says "No." or "Not yet.", but we will realize it some other time in the future. Sometimes He wants us to take everything slowly, so we do not over work instead have the time to take in the purpose of every thing that He makes us do every once in a while. Everything has its season. Just because it's their season doesn't mean it has to be our season, too. Ours come in the most unexpected yet perfect time in our lives. Trust. Wait. Follow through.

Thank you, Jesus for telling me these things tonight. I will wait, I will trust, and I will follow through your plans.
